Scrutiny of the Reptile - Colours cover

Celebrating the 80s synthwave/darkwave/gothic sound of “The Sisterhood” with a cover of “Colours”.

“Colours”, written by Andrew Eldritch, was originally released by “The Sisterhood” on the album “Gift” in 1986 (there is a great backstory to this album) and then later by the second incarnation of Eldritch’s “The Sisters of Mercy” as an extra track on the CD version of “Floodland” in 1987.

I’ve always had an affection towards The Sisterhood’s Gift, as such the Scrutiny of the Reptile cover of Colours attempts to stay true to the long, meandering and sightly hypnotic nature or the original with some additional Reptile flavour.
