Breaching the waves
A creature of great might
In its eyes, a sadness
An eerie sight
The Prophet
Thrown overboard in despair
The belly of the beast his fate
His God’s message he must bear
The Father
Trapped in the Beast’s dank fetid air
The joy of the wooden boy reunited
Their escape they must dare
The Captain
With a mad gleam, he stares
The beast that took his leg
His obsession he must wear
A creature of a thousand tales
A thousand different fates
Its song always filled with sorrow
In this unsettling seascape
